Nenagh lights up for Christmas!

Spain AV, Nenagh Live, Nenagh 800 and Tipperary County Council are proud to present Light-Up Nenagh 2022 on this Sunday, November 27, from 3-6pm.

The magic of Christmas will descend on Nenagh’s Pearse St on Sunday, November 27, when the Christmas lights will be officially switched on. Join Tom Bán, host of RTÉ 2’s flagship children’s programme ‘Bush Kids’, and the wonderful Trudi Lalor, as well as a host of local personalities and performers for an outdoor musical and visual Christmas celebration live on the streets of Nenagh.

The show will begin at 3pm with music and entertainment to suit all tastes kicking off the festive season in Nenagh in style. Join Tom, Trudi, Santa Claus, and for the first time we present ‘The Urge’, Ireland's Ultimate Festive Party Band bringing their incredible celebration all things Christmas to Nenagh.

Joining our show is a host of local and international talent with singers and performers such as DJ JP O'Meara, Emma Fitzgerald Group, Martin 'The Freshman' Ryan, Glór Tíre's Tex Deegan, Martin Grace, Lisa Manning, Michelle Hennessy and the Hennessy School of Music, Yvonne Richardson, Ormond Comhaltas, Jack and Caitlin McGrath.

The show will begin at 3pm with music and entertainment to suit all tastes kicking off the festive season in Nenagh in style. A large outdoor stage and video screen will be in place to entertain the crowds and showcase our amazing town and all that it has to offer. Remember to wrap up warm and come down early to enjoy the music!
