Policing unit avert accident

Tipperary Roads Policing Unit happened upon a car as it was reversing up a slip road from the M7 in Nenagh on Sunday.

Thankfully it met a patrol car and was stopped before a collision occurred. The motorist stated they missed their turn. A prosecution is to follow

A Garda spokesperson said: "Remember, do not turn around or reverse when using the motorway network."
