Tennis and Trad in Puckane this Friday

Puckane and District Tennis Club invites you to 'Tennis and Trad', a fundraising night of music, song and dance in aid of North Tipp Hospice, taking place at McGrath’s pub in Puckane this Friday night, September 30.

The finals of the Eddie Kelly Cup competition will be held at the nearby tennis courts at 7pm, after which the trad session will get underway in McGrath's from 9pm. Top class musicians will be involved, including Liz Gaughan, Brendan Quinn, Eabha Quinn, Keelan McGrath, Laoise Kennedy, Emily Kennedy, Mairead O’Brien, Ciaran Slattery, Cathal Slattery, Ballycommon Trad Group and Friends, plus special guests. There will also be singers and set dancing on the night.

There's no entry fee, though there will be a collection bucket and raffle on the night, and auction for a trailer of timber.

So, come along to McGrath’s this Friday night, enjoy the ceol and the craic, and lend your support to a very worthy cause. Anyone wishing to donate online can do so at www.itsplainsailing.com/org/ptc
