Tipperary came back from the National Community Games finals at the University of Limerick last weekend bristling with medals.
The were gold medals won by the Roscrea Under 15 Girls soccer team and the Cloughjordan Under 11 Tag Rugby team.
Roscrea’s under 12 soccer team also reached the finals but had to settle for bronze medals, but still a terrific achievement.
The Boherlahan-Dualla Under 14 Camogie team were also successful in winning the National title.
There was individual success in the form of Newport’s Sean Carrig who won the Under 14 Breaststroke in swimming.
His clubmate Eoin Reddy reach the final of the Under 10 Freestyle while Maisie Coffey Jones put in a strong performance in the Under 12 Breaststroke. Cate O'Brien finished seventh in the Under 12 Cycling on Grass while Ailín Kennedy also finished seventh in the 7km Marathon.
