Killaloe twinned with New London

Members of the Clare County Council’s Twinning committee, led by Cathaoirleach Tony O’Brien, have signed a Twinning Charter between the Wisconsin city of New London and Killaloe.

The link between the two locations was first established by Killaloe’s Cllr O’Brien 15 years ago when he accepted an invitation from the city’s local Shamrock Club to meet with officials from the Wisconsin city.

Since 2007, representatives of New London have made numerous visits to Killaloe.
