Successful Féile Brian Ború

After an absence of three years, Féile Brian Ború made its welcome return last week and a very varied programme of events ensured that all age groups were accommodated at indoor and outdoor events from July 6 to July 10.

Glorious weather conditions over the weekend saw thousands of people converge on Killaloe/Ballina/Two-Mile-Gate districts with, of course, the resulting major traffic problems.

The highlight of the festival was the ‘Fireworks’ display on Saturday night where crowds of people lined the streets, the Bridge, Ballina Quay, Riverside Park, Between the Waters, to view this spectacular, colourful event.

Well done to all that took part in the various activities and to the organising committee for yet another enjoyable Féile.
