Resolve beer, brewed in Templemore in support of Ukraine.

Tipp brewery supports Ukraine

Tipperary's Whitefield Brewery is one of 30 craft breweries around the world - and the only one in Ireland - participating in the Resolve beer project in support of Ukraine.

Resolve is an open-source collaboration beer to recognise the determination of the Ukrainian people and to aid the humanitarian effort. Templemore-based Whitefield (formerly White Gypsy) is brewing Resolve beer and donating all proceeds to Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), a not-for-profit organisation providing emergency aid inside Ukraine.

This collaboration came about in March when two Ukrainian brewers from 2085brewery in Kyiv contacted the Templemore beer producers about their idea, that craft breweries around the world could all brew the same beer under the same label in support of the humanitarian effort.

Whitefield signed up immediately and began brewing this beer so that it would be ready for sale by Easter in aid of this essential cause. The Templemore brewers wanted to thank New York-based 42 North Brewing Company and 2085brewery in Kyiv for starting this initiative. Resolve beer is brewed using their recipe, and the independent, award-winning craft beer makers at Whitefield can confirm that it is “delicious”!

Resolve beer can be purchased now at Keller's Carry Out Off Licence, Nenagh and Roscrea; O'Connells Centra, Templemore; Linnane's Carry Out, Thurles; Shanahan's Circle K, Centra, Borrisoleigh and Carry Out, Templemore. Remember, all proceeds go towards supporting the humanitarian effort in Ukraine.
