Nenagh CBS into Munster Final

Nenagh CBS progressed to the Munster Schools O’Brien Cup final following a 24-7 win over Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibne in Abbeyfeale last week.

There was a strong wind and CBS were playing into it in the first half. It was a slow start with lots of mishandled passes from both teams. Mason Cawley eventually went over in and Joe Gleeson converted to get Nenagh on the scoreboard. This seemed to settle the team and the momentum grew. John Brislane went over and once again Gleeson converted. Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibne never let up and there was constant pressure being put on the Nenagh team.

In the second half Joe Gleeson converted a penalty and a fantastic Adam Hall try to put Nenagh into the final.
