Relaunch of Nenagh Men's Shed

Nenagh Mens Shed is re-launching post-covid.

The Men’s Shed movement started in Australia in the 1980s and spread internationally from there, but Ireland now has more Sheds per capita than any other country in the world with 450 Sheds around the country. Sheds engage in a wide variety of activities such as woodwork, gardening, DIY, music/singing, genealogy and various community projects, all undertaken in a very relaxed atmosphere.

The most important tool in Nenagh Men’s Shed is the kettle – above all else the Shed is a social space where all are welcome to come and be involved at their own pace.

Nenagh Men’s Shed will hold a public meeting in the New Institute, Abbey Street, on Thursday, March 31, at 7.30pm to recruit membership and relaunch the Shed. All are welcome; refreshments provided. Contact Mike (087 2226298) for further details.
