RCÉ National Greyhound Award nominees

2021 was a memorable year on the track and a glance through the nominees for the Rásaíocht Con Éireann National Greyhound Racing Awards will highlight the fact.

Each of the seven categories feature the very best greyhounds in training and, there is no doubt, seven worthy winners will be crowned on March 13th.

Once again, it was a stellar year for the fairer sex and Boylesports Derby champion Susie Sapphire has been given two nominations for Bitch of the Year and the Future Star award. She will be joined by Derby runner-up and Juvenile Classic winner Singalong Sally and English Oaks winner Billys Diva in the Bitch of the Year category.

Dog of the Year features three wonderfully fast greyhounds with Produce Stakes and Race of Champions winner Explosive Boy, Irish Sprint Cup and Kingdom Derby winner Good Cody and Select Stakes winner Skywalker Barry nominated.

Sprinter of the Year will come from Ela Supremo, Good Cody and Two Amigos, while the nominees for Stayer of the Year are Dana Point, Generous Angel and Priceless Jet.
