Ballina talk on 'The Scariff Martyrs'

Killaloe-Ballina History Society’s popular monthly talks will resume at the Lakeside Hotel on Wednesday, November 17, at 7.30pm.

This talk will be delivered by the award-winning historian/author, Tomás Mac Conmara, who will share the facts, photos and audio from his research into his acclaimed book, ‘The Scariff Martyrs’.

This first talk for over 19 months will commemorate the 101st anniversary of this tragic event. Copies of the book will be available on the night.
