Top award for Terryglass Treats
Local food producer Terryglass Treats has won a Great Taste Award at the Great Taste Awards 2021 for their Blackcurrant and Cassis, and Raspberry Melba jam.
Terryglass Treats is a family-run, local business, who have been creating luxury jams and preserves for over 10 years.
Branching out into the luxury gifting market, their Christmas hampers have become hugely popular over the past number of years, and are going from strength to strength.

Great Taste is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drinks awards. “One of our best sellers, the Blackcurrant and Cassis, is just that in a jar. Whether you’re stirring it into porridge, or spreading it on toast; it turns the ordinary into something extraordinary.”
When speaking at the Great Taste Awards 2021, the judges describe it is as “tangy, sharp, fruity loveliness! A blackcurrant jam with freshness, zing and integrity. Full on flavour and a hint of liqueur. We love it! Oh and it’s glossy, well set and the fruit soft yet still with form.”
Their second award, for their hugely popular Raspberry Melba Jam also received high praise from the judges: “Bright, juicy and tart raspberry notes with hints of bitterness from the welcome crunchy seeds. Sweet, honeyed aromas are warm and mouth-watering. A soft creamy element from the peach liqueur adds an extra flourish.”
