NutShed cracks it again!

FOR the second year in- a-row the Nenagh based food company, NutShed, have won two awards at the prestigious, international Great Taste Awards last week.

The company, run by Evie and Eliza Ward, won a star for its NutShed Crunchy Honey Roasted Peanut Butter and two stars for NutShed Original Smooth Peanut Butter .

The Ward sisters have been producing plant based treats and peanut butters at their Stafford St Enterprise Centre unit for over three years.

NutShed wholesales its plant-based treats and sell its jars of single origin peanut butters to over 500 speciality shops, cafes, delis and big retailers around Ireland.

“We have nine wonderful people working on the NutShed team and spend 60 hours a week roasting peanuts now to just meet demand for our peanut butter,” said Eliza.

The Great Taste Awards is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards, which is run by the Guild of Fine Foods, and is seen as a stamp of excellence and values taste above all else.
