Vandalism incident in Nenagh

The breaking of a side mirror and windscreen of a car parked overnight at Kenyon Street, Nenagh, on Saturday night/Sunday morning last is being investigated, with CCTV images currently being examined.

In Borrisokane, gardaí seized quantities of cocaine and amphetamine after two individuals were searced in the locality on Monday of this week.

Meanwhile, in Roscrea, a male was arrested in the Tullaskeagh area on Tuesday of last week following claims that he made alleged threats to members on An Garda Síochána, and that he allegedly assaulted another individual.

Gardaí are investigating thefts from a retail premises at Old Dublin Road, Roscrea, which occurred between 10.30pm and 11pm on Saturday last. Used car batteries were stolen from the site.

Gardaí in the Nenagh District have renewed their appeal for the public to be vigilant following ongoing incidents of cyber crime in the locality. A spokesman said a number of online fraud incidents, including attempts to steal money from bank accounts, had been reported.
