Cows killed in collision on N7

Three cows were killed this morning after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the N7.

Gardai were called to the scene at Carrigatoher where the cattle were crossing the road to be milked in the nearby parlour. There were no injuries to human life though the vehicle did sustain damage.

Traffic was temporarily disrupted as the road was made safe.
