Junior Hurling Leagues: will commence on Saturday 19th June. Senior/Intermediate clubs to name their first 15 players, which are to be submitted to the Secretary of the North Bord by 6.00pm this Sunday 13th June. North CCC will review players named prior to the commencement of the Junior League.

Clubs were asked to inform the Bord if they were interested in participating in a Junior ‘C’ League.

The North Junior Hurling Championships will start on Saturday 17th July and due to the fact that the senior and intermediate championships will not have started at this stage for grading purposes, senior and intermediate clubs will have to submit their first 18 Players Names who cannot play junior. These players names are to be submitted to the Secretary of the North Bord by Thursday 8th July and will then be reviewed by the North CCC.

Under 19 Hurling: The draws were made for the Under 19 ‘A’ & ‘B’ Hurling Championships which will begin on Wednesday 30th June with the games being played on a league format.

U19 ‘A’ - Group 1: Toomevara v Kiladangan, Ballina bye, Group 2: Roscrea v Silvermines; Lorrha Rovers Gaels v Nenagh Eire Og

The top 2 teams in Group 1 qualify for a semi-final along with the top team in Group 2. The team that finishes second in Group 2 will play the team that finished third in Group 1 in a playoff for the final semi-final berth.

U19 ‘B’ – Group 1: Ballinahinch/Templederry v Moneygall/Clonakenny, Borrisokane v Borris-Ileigh; Group 2: Kilruane MacDonaghs v Burgess; Newport v Portroe.

The top 2 teams in each group progress to the semi-finals.

The CCC will look at running a Shield Competition for teams that fail to qualify for the semi-finals.

2020 Competitions: Junior ‘A’ Football Final - Ballina v Portroe in Ballina on Saturday 19th June at 7.00pm. Extra Time to be played in the event of draw after normal time. If both Clubs are still level after a period of Extra Time played the game goes to penalties.

Junior ‘C’ Hurling - Semi Final: Nenagh Éire Óg v Roscrea in Moneygall on Saturday 19th June at 7.00pm. Extra Time to be played in the event of draw after normal time. If both Clubs are still level after a period of Extra Time played the game goes to penalties.

County Championships: Best wishes to Toomevara and Silvermines in their respective 2020 County Hurling Semi Finals. Toomevara play Arravale Rovers in Junior ‘A’ Hurling on Saturday 19th June @ 7pm in The Ragg. Silvermines will play the Winners of the West in Junior ‘B’ Hurling on Saturday 26th June @ 7pm. Venue to be confirmed.

Ballina take on Upperchurch/Drombane in the 2020 Under 21 ‘B’ Football final on Saturday 26th June in Dolla.
