Community spirit is alive and well in Ballina!

Ború Court youngsters in Ballina helped cheer up the residents of the local Lakes Nursing Home by organising a bake sale and raffle with prizes kindly donated by local businesses.

With strict social distancing in place and parental supervision, the venture was a huge success, raising €550 from the bake sale and raffle.

The enterprising youngsters presented the money together with some Easter treats as well as some craft materials to the home. A huge thanks to the organisers and all who donated and supported the fundraiser.
