Appeal following burglaries in Tipp

Gardaí in Nenagh are appealing for information following the burglary of a house at Woodview Close in the town on March 18th.

The kitchen was entered from the rear of the property sometime between 10pm and 11.30pm and items stolen.

A burglary took place at Ballingarry, Roscrea, sometime between Thursday and Friday last when tools were stolen from a shed. Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information who saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the crime to make contact with them.

Meanwhile a number of drug seizures have been made by members of the Divisional Drugs Unit. Cannabis with an estimated street value of €500 was seized at Railway View, Roscrea on Friday last while members of the Cahir and Cashel Drugs Unit stopped and searched a vehicle at John St, Cashel on Wednesday and found a quantity of cocaine and cannabis.

Cahir Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle in Cahir on Wednesday and discovered the driver to be disqualified from driving on accumulation of penalty points. The vehicle was seized and a court date will follow for the individual.
