Rescued pony makes a good recovery

Thurles Gardaí are happy to report that the malnourished pony they rescued has received veterinary attention and is now making a good recovery and enjoying a new life.

Gardaí rescued the bay pony from Clover Bog in Two Mile Borris with a serious leg injury on St Patrick's Day.

The animal welfare charity My Lovely Horse Rescue were among the groups and individuals who took to Facebook to praise the Gardai for their kind efforts.
