Co-created and performed by both migrant and host communities in Borrisokane, the work will draw from Instant Dissidence’s background in contemporary dance, whilst also embracing popular dance culture, and

traditional/folk dance forms from the countries of origin of the migrant and host communities.

The work will take place later in the spring but it will be launched by a film at the First Fortnight Festival.

Accessibility: Disability access is being embedded in the creation of the work.

Instant Dissidence is an Ireland-based company directed by Rita Marcalo. It‘s her way of bringing different artists together, in different combinations, to realise different ideas.
