Combining and promoting local businesses and services with local personalities and performers, #NenaghLive is a feelgood online entertainment show promoting retail in Nenagh town in association with Tipperary County Council, Nenagh Municipal District and Spain AV.

Aimed at suporting the Shop Local message in the run-up to Christmas, the initiative involves a series of online shows to promote retail in Nenagh town. The show will stream live simultaneously through all relevant social media channels.

It features, for example, a brief promotional video of a business and its services with an introduction from the owner. Each episode will feature a musical or spoken word performance.

Each business will also take part in and receive a series of promotional photographs shared though our social media and made available to each participating business for their own use.

The #NenaghLive campaign began on November 16th and will run for four weeks to encourage local footfall and local enterprise throughout the Christmas season with a separate Christmas episode to go to air specifically on December 20th.

The first episode was streamed on Monday night last and so far the response has been really positive from all the shops involved. The show will run Monday to Friday at 8pm with a special edition on Sunday highlighting the week's contents. Each episode has a special guest and musical performance. A special Christmas edition will broadcast on December 20th.

The show features two local presenters, Ellen Merry of Burgess and Nenagh man Tom Bán. Ellen is an engineering student and Tom is a veteran of the TV world having performed as an extra in 'Vikings' for three seasons and is currently working on a new TV show called 'Valhalla'.
