A man has been arrested following break-ins at business premises in Ballycommon and Newport.

Warning over car break-ins

Motorists are urged not to leave valuable property in unattended vehicles following a number of break-ins over the past week. Vehicles were broken into at Cudville and St Conlon's Road, Nenagh, last Thursday week. Investigating gardaí have arrested and a charged a male with theft offences.

Elsewhere, items were stolen from a car at Clonbealy, Newport, overnight between Thursday and Friday week last.

Gardaí are also investigating an attempted burglary at a service station in Newport in the early hours of Tuesday of this week. A number of suspects were reportedly disturbed and fled the scene.

A male has been arrested following break-ins at business premises in Ballycommon and Newport in the early hours of Friday week last. The male was arrested in Limerick on Saturday and has been charged in relation to both incidents.
