Fundraising Walk for Nenagh Snooker Club

Nenagh Snooker & Social Club are hosting a Fun Run/Walk this Sunday 23rd August to raise funds for the refurbishment of the clubs rooms on Friar Street.

It is the first part of a fundraising drive to raise approximately €40,000 to complete the refurbishment of the club rooms which have been taking place in recent months to make it more comfortable to players and members.

This is the yellow fundraiser as part of the six-part “Yellow to Black” fundraising plan with the 5km Walk or Run (dog friendly) getting underway at 10.00am.

The route will see participants leave Friar Street and head towards the Dromin road where they will come out at the ring road before coming back towards Nenagh from the Ballycommon roundabout.

Registration takes place at the club entrance with €20 per person or €30 for a family. All participants will be temperature checked at registration while two metre social distancing with be observed at all times with stewarded, while the Order of Malta will also be in attendance.

So if you want a gentle run or walk supporting a good cause, this 5km is for you.
