The online Calculated Grades Student Portal for the Leaving Certificate 2020 closes at 4pm this Monday, July 27th. If you previously registered for calculated grades you will get a text message about the portal reopening. You must log in and opt in to get calculated grade results. Students who have not previously registered must register before they can proceed to opt in to receive calculated grades.The portal closes at 4pm on Monday, July 27th.

 

Students following the established Leaving Certificate programme must opt in on a subject by subject basis. Students following the Leaving Certificated Applied Programme (Year 1 and Year 2) must opt in to get your award in the full LCA programme and not for individual subjects, modules or tasks.

 

If you previously registered for calculated grades, you will get a text message about the portal reopening so that you can now opt in for a calculated grade. If you did not register, you can register via the portal and then proceed to opt in for calculated grades.

 

The results of the Leaving Certificate Calculated Grades will be issued through the student portal and to your school on Monday, September 7th. First round CAO offers for colleges and universities will be issued on Friday, September 11th. Leaving Certificate Calculated Grades results will be treated by the CAO and UCAS system for UK in the same way as the results of any other year.

 

The issuing of Leaving Certificate Calculated Grades results will meet CAO and all UCAS deadlines. If you get calculated grades or choose not to get calculated grades, you can still choose to sit the conventional written Leaving Certificate 2020 examination at a later date. You can choose your highest grade in a subject from either the written Leaving Certificate 2020 or the State Certificate of Calculated Grades when calculating your points for access to higher education.
