Community Games Creative Communities Campaign

Aldi Community Games, together with Síle Seoige, launched their Creative Communities competition. This innovative initiative is an online competition with 8 different categories including, Art, Model-making, Singing, Music, Recitation, Creative Writing, Scríobhnóireacht and Photography.

The Aldi Community Games May Festival was due to take place in University of Limerick on the May Bank Holiday weekend and the Creative Communities competition is a way to make sure that creativity and participation is celebrated even with social distancing in place.

The prize-giving will take place during the May Bank Holiday weekend and there are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th medals to be won in each category as well as Aldi vouchers and more. Every child/group that submits an entry will receive a Digital Certificate and winners will be posted their medals.

There is a special Photography competition for the over 16’s with a state of the art Canon camera as top prize thanks to Canon Ireland, who are also judging the event.
