Juvenile GAA Skills League for North Clubs

North Tipperary Games Development Administrator Paudie Malone is organising a skills league for all Under 14 teams in the division.

This age group is usually always on the go and now they find themselves at home with nothing to do. A lot of the current challenges online are targeted at younger kids so this is being targeted at the older age group.
Players from the Tipperary hurling and football panels have putting together video packages, demonstrating the challenges for each day.

The league will work as follows:
1. The competition will be ran over 14 days starting on Monday 25th May.
2. Each day at 9.00am a skill (football or hurling) or a physical challenge will be sent out to the clubs participating via video demonstration from one of our county stars.
3. The U14 teams have 10 hours to complete the challenge as many times as they like to try and accumulate points.
4. The players must send a video of each challenge they do to a club rep who will compile and calculate all the attempts and send a final figure to me by 8.00pm that night. (each rep will be one point)
5. The league table will be published each night on social media @gdanorthtipp. No results of the challenges will be posted up online until all the final figures are sent in to me from all the clubs involved.
6. The winning club at the end of the 14 days will get the 'Lockdown League' trophy and medals!

The closing date for clubs to enter this competition is this Wednesday 20th May at 9.00pm.

There has been a great response so far from all the clubs in the division. Even though there is a competitive element for clubs the important thing is to get people moving and get players, some who miss their friends, working together to win a league while they are apart.
