Bondi Hair Salon in Silver Street.

Generous gesture by Nenagh hair salon to support nurses

Bondi Hair Salon in Nenagh has been warmly thanked for sending hundreds of gift sets to frontline medical staff battling the coronavirus at University Hospital Limerick.
Owner Leanne Meehan said she and everyone at the Silver St salon wanted to do something to show their appreciation to all involved in this huge crisis we are experiencing. So they bought a range of fabulous shampoo and conditioner gifts and last week delivered them to the frontline healthcare workers. “There are lots of words we can write to show how thankful we are for the support from all the healthcare workers, etc,” Leanne said. “We wanted to do something to show our thank you! This would not be possible without our fantastic customers supporting us the last number of years - without you we could not do this, so we thank you as well!” Leanne is a daughter of Noel Meehan, a security guard working at the Limerick hospital, who passed on the donated gift sets. She hoped that the beneficiaries would enjoy their well-deserved gifts. She also took the opportunity to thank Conor Moloney for helping to wrap the gift sets.
