parkrun for Borrisokane
On Saturday, 1st February, the inaugural Borrisokane parkrun takes place in Borrisokane Town Park.
parkrun, the worldwide community activity movement, is a free, timed 5k Walk/Jog/Run which takes every Saturday morning at 9.30am.
Last Saturday, the volunteers had a Trial Run and test of the timing equipment. Everyone is now trained and ready to go, expecting over 250 park runners next week for the inaugural event.
Joining Knocknacree Woods and Templemore, Borrisokane becomes the latest event to open in North Tipperary, and a great facility for all ages and ability.
