Exciting time for Jerome and Tipp

The next three weeks will be special time for everyone involved in Tipperary hurling with senior and under 20 All Ireland hurling finals to look forward.

For Jake Morris, Jerome Cahill and Paddy Cadell, it will be doubly so as they have the opportunity to be part of both squads and add 2019 to 1964, 1965, 1989 and 2010, when Tipperary won the senior and under 21 (20) titles in the same year.

It's a really exciting time to be part of both Tipp panels and I'm really looking forward to the next three weeks,” admitted Cahill who scored 2-1 in the demolition over Wexford on Sunday.

There is a great buzz around the county. When the support is there, the Tipperary support is unbelievable and seeing everyone here today would really motivate you to put your best foot every day you go out, whether it is 20's or seniors.”

Reflecting on progressing to the under 20 All Ireland final, Cahill admitted the final scoreline was harsh on Wexford but the ruthless edge to Tipperary's performance was pleasing.

We started both halves very quickly and that really the tone,” he said.
