Tipp's Volunteering Fair set for June
Tipperary Volunteer Centre is delighted to announce that this year's county Volunteering Fair will take place on June 25th between 10am and 2pm at Cahir Community Hall, The Mall, Cahir.
Following on from the success of last years Fair in Nenagh this free half-day event will provide community-based organisations with the opportunity to showcase the great work they do and promote their services and volunteer opportunities to the general public.
Last year over 120 people attended our fair on what was one of the hottest days of the year. Informal networking at the event resulted in a number of organisations being assisted with issues they were encountering including volunteer recruitment, governance and Garda vetting to mention just a few.
Community Groups and organisations in attendance will be given the chance to give a 1-minute pitch to attendees to help promote their service. This is also a great event for members of the public to see the range of volunteer opportunities available locally. If you are already volunteering or interested in starting your volunteer journey then please come along. Tea/coffee will be available all through the day and a light lunch will also be served.
