Senior Hurling Championship: The County and North Championship rounds will proceed as planned on the weekends of 6/7 and 13/14 April.

Kiladangan, Portroe and Borrisokane will be asked to juggle their game time between both codes, to assist the North first round going ahead on the weekend of 12-14 April.

Friday 12th April – Kiladangan v Toomevara in Cloughjordan at 6.30pm

Saturday 13th April – Ballina v Portroe in Nenagh at 5.30pm

Sunday 14th April – Borris-Ileigh v Newport in Dolla at 1.30pm; Nenagh Eire Og v Burgess in Dolla at 3.00pm; Kilruane MacDonaghs v Silvermines in Toomevara at 6.30pm

Intermediate Hurling Championship: Quarter final between Borrisokane v Ballinahinch in Nenagh on Saturday 13th April at 4.00pm

Junior Hurling Leagues: All games in round 1 of the North Junior ‘A’ and ‘B’ Hurling Leagues went ahead last weekend where we saw wins for Templederry, Nenagh and Roscrea with Kilruane/Borris-Ileigh drawing in the ‘A’. Meanwhile in the ‘B’ Kiladangan, Balliahinch, Portroe and Silvermines made a winning start. Round 2 throws in this weekend and then we will have a two week break to facilitate the Senior Hurling County and North Championship rounds.

Minor Football: In the ‘A’ championship, we have a back fixture this Wednesday in Puckane between Kiladangan and Kilruane, which may decide the North finalists. Currently it looks like the finalists will come from Kiladangan, Kilruane and Ballina. The ‘B’ finalists are known for some time as we await Borrisokane and Portroe to agree a date for the final.
Minor Hurling Development League: This league commences on Thursday 4th April and all games will proceed without any players tied up with County squads. There is scope for reduced team numbers where both clubs agree in advance. The important thing is that the games go ahead as scheduled and all our young players get hurling action before exam time.

Feile Hurling & Football: Both codes are now complete in the annual North Feile U14 Peil and Iomanaiocht competitions. This year there were ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ competitions once again and Nenagh Eire Óg caught the eye winning both the Peil & Iomaniocht ‘A’ grades. Moneygall/Clonakenny and Newport were winners in ‘B’ while Shannon Rovers and Portroe were successful in ‘C’ football and hurling and progress to the county semi-finals
Under 12 Football: Now that the weather is improving and the evenings are stretching, it signals the beginning of the U12 Football championship. Round 1 throws in this Saturday with all subsequent rounds playing on Tuesday evenings. North Coiste na nOg have issued all clubs with the fixture list including the knock out dates, so hopefully this should minimise postponements.
This year all the divisions are aligned, which means that U12's play on Tuesdays, U14's on Thursdays and U16's on Mondays.
