The CSP supports community-based organisations delivering vital services through a social enterprise model.

Community Services Programme benefits Tipp

Nenagh Arts Centre and Newport Development Association are two of 10 services in Tipperary that have benefited from over €681,075 in funding from the Government’s Community Services Programme (CSP).

 

Nenagh Arts Centre Company is to receive €112,532 while Newport Development Association will get €28,550. Other services to benefit from the CSP are:

Ballingarry (Thurles) Community Development Company - €108,132; Cahir Park AFC (Development) Company - €43,232 and Tipperary Mid-West Radio Co-Operative Society Limited - €92,399.

 

The CSP supports community-based organisations delivering vital services through a social enterprise model. Nationwide, some €46 million will be made available under the Programme in 2019.

 

All finance comes from Minister Michael Ring’s Rural and Community Development Department.The funding has been welcomed by Independent TD Mattie McGrarth and Fine Gael General Election Candidate for Tipperary Garret Ahearn.
