One4all is issuing a final call for entrants to the Spotlights – awards that shine a light and reward those employees who have made an outstanding contribution to their company over the past year.

Nationally representative research commissioned by One4all has found that 71% of Irish workers would be more likely to stay in their job if they receive a Christmas bonus – even more reason to show your team appreciation by entering them for an award.

Nominations have now been extended until December 14th and can be made via the One4all Rewards website, www.one4allrewards.ie/spotlights. The awards are open to all employers and employees of Irish SMEs and applications will be judged by an independent panel of business leaders, including members of Chambers Ireland, and a selection of journalists.

The overall winners will be announced in January 2019, with the winners receiving a trophy, as well as a One4all Gift Card up the value of €500.

The Spotlights were created to give SMEs a platform to recognise employees that go the extra mile, and to offer employers and colleagues the facility to reward these unsung heroes. One4all want to shine a spotlight on Ireland’s employees and say a special thanks to those who go above and beyond to drive their team and company to success.

Recent research has found that the majority of Irish workers (71%) would be happy with any form of appreciation from their employer at Christmas, so One4all encourage all SMEs to get their entries in for this year’s awards as a way of saying thanks for all the hard work over the last 12 months.

To enter the Spotlights, simply nominate your chosen employee or work colleague, explaining why you feel they should receive recognition in no more than 300 words.

Michael Dawson, CEO, One4all, said of the launch: “We are delighted to be running the 4th edition of the One4all Spotlight Awards in partnership with Chambers Ireland. It is imperative to reward hard work and that is exactly what the Spotlights are all about, recognising the contribution and hard work of employees. We want to help SMEs in Ireland reward and celebrate their employees and we look forward to reading the entries with stories about all of the great work happening at SMEs all over the country”.

James Kiernan, Chief Executive Chambers Ireland, commented: “Chambers Ireland are delighted to have partnered with One4all for the Spotlight Awards again this year. We encourage our Chamber members, and of course, the wider business community, to engage with these awards to remind employees that great work doesn’t go unnoticed and that they are appreciated by their employers and co-workers alike.”
