Christmas time in Nenagh!

Nenagh's Christmas lights will be switched on this Saturday, December 1st.

There will be a party at Banba Square from 6pm to 7pm. Santa Claus will arrive at 6.30pm. Children can meet Santa and his helpers for a fun-filled festive event at Nenagh Arts Centre.

Tipperary Co Council is allowing free parking in Nenagh's car parks from Saturday December 15th to Wednesday December 26th. Normal pay parking applies on street from 10am to 6.30pm between these dates.

Your co-operation would be appreciated in complying with the bye-aws in operation and observing the restrictions on parking in bus stops, loading bays, on footpaths and in disabled parking bays without display of a disabled person’s parking permit.

This initiative is designed to promote local trade and to encourage support for town traders during the festive season. The council is appealing for people to shop local this Christmas, and wishes to remind customers that e-Parking is available in Nenagh.
