Christmas lights fundraiser at Nenagh house

The Christmas lights will be switched on at the Ahern family home in Yewston, Nenagh, on Friday, November 30th, at 7pm.

Every Christmas for the last 30 years or so, Pat and Patricia Ahern have decked out their house and garden in Yewston with a wonderful array of lights and decorations. People come from all over town and beyond to marvel at the sight and leave a donation, with this year's proceeds being given to the Hospice.

There will be a real party atmosphere at the house this Friday, with music by James McGrath and Nenagh Brass Band, and a raffle with some great prizes to be won. Santa will also be there. The lights will remain up until January 6th.
