O'Meara claims fifth Series win

At the penultimate round of the Showjumping Ireland National Grand Prix leg held at Galway Equestrian last Sunday, Toomevara's Liam O’Meara recorded his fifth victory of the series aboard Helen Sheridan’s Curraghgraigue Jack Take Flight.
O’Meara set up the quickest of the four double clears in a time of 39.33 and was also fifth on Russell Style in a time of 51.46.
Jessica Burke who also had two chances in the jump off managed double clears on both. Norway Venture was the faster of the two with a time of 39.65 to hold onto second place and CC Captain Crusie was clear in 49.05 to secure fourth position.
Darryl Walker and Kiss N Fly separated Burke’s two results stopping the clock in 41.75 to settle into third position.
Heading toward the final round at Barnadown Equestrian next weekend, O’Meara still holds the top position with Mr.Coolcaum and is also in second place with Curraighgruaige Jack Take Flight while Russel Style is in fifth place.
