Tipp chased Down at they miss out on All Ireland date

Down 113

Tipperary 2-8

In a proverbial game of two halves, the Tipperary Intermediate camogie teams dream of All Ireland glory was extinguished by Down who produced a fine comeback to book their place in the Croke Park finale.

In a strong position at the break leading 1-7 to 0-4, Tipp appeared to be on a roll, in particular the second quarter where they were by far the better side, playing the better camogie, when the half time whistle blew.

When they came back out, that momentum they had enjoyed, totally fell away and they couldn’t get the breaks they needed after that as Down worked their way back into the game.

However, the girls from the Premier county must surely be asking themselves what went so badly wrong for them in a game they should have won.
