Feehan relishing second chance against Cork

Prior to this year, Tipperary's Munster final defeat to Cork last month would have spelled the end to their campaign.

A thirteen point defeat off the back of a poor championship campaign defeat by the seniors would have led to a long winter of discontent with fans wondering where the players were coming from to get Tipperary challenging for the Liam MacCarthy Cup again.

Luckily, enough Tipperary only had to wait just over a month to put things right as a change to the format which saw Galway and Antrim go into Leinster, leading to both provincial finalists ending up in the All Ireland semi-finals.

We were lucky because it is the first year that we got a second chance,” admitted Tipperary's Paudie Feehan.

We are blessed but its great to get a chance and re-group. There is a lot of honesty within the lads a lot of guys put their hands up to see where we went wrong and see how we can do our best to fix it.”
