A tenacious Tipperary performance proved too hot for the Rebels to handle in what proved a cracking Munster Minor Hurling Championship second round clash on Sunday.

Tipperary managed to get their campaign back on track with a performance brimful of drive, determination and sheer will to win. Undoubtedly, the previous weekend’s loss to Limerick proved bitterly disappointing but on this occasion Tipp espoused all that’s good about hurling at this grade to secure a fully deserved two points.

Any pre-match trepidation, considering Cork’s undeniable prowess at underage in recent years, was quickly banished however, as Tipp systematically dissected the rebels challenge with consummate ease as goals from Kevin Maher, James Devanney, Sean Hayes and Devon Ryan helped the Premier County to a ten point victory.
