Tipp hurling song from Corrigan Brothers
THE Corrigan Brothers of Puckane are supporting Tipperary with a new song in support of the boys in the blue and gold.
They have have rewritten The Dubliners' 'I'll tell me Ma' as 'I'll tell you now':
I'll tell you now
They're brave and bold
The boys who wear
The blue and gold.
Every player
Keeps goin' and goin'.
This year liam is
Comin' home.
Brendan Maher
From Borrisoleigh,
Dan McCormack,
So is he.
Oh this year it's gonna be
The blue and gold of Tipperary.
Bubbles Dwyer from Killenaule,
He's a master with the ball,
Watch him score,
Oh so well,
Giving the defences hell.
Get a chance, he'll have a go,
A swing of the hurley, kick of the toe,
See the backs ready to cry,
As our bubbles pass them by.
I'll tell you now,
They're brave and bold
The boys who wear
The blue and gold.
Every player keeps goin' and goin',
This year Liam is comin' home.
Brendan Maher from Borrisoleigh,
Dan McCormack, so is he.
This year it is gonna be
The blue and gold of Tipperary
Barrett, Barry Cahill too
Are proud to wear the gold and blue.
Between the posts brave and true
Is Darren Gleeson from Portroe.
Hear the fans make the noise
For the Galtee Mountain boys
Together singing Slievenamon.
The blue and gold goes on and on
I'll tell you now...
In Thurles, Cashel and in Cahir
The flags are blowing in the air.
The bunting's up in Puckane,
In Fethard and in Killenaule,
Flying high the gold and blue
In Thurles town and in Portroe,
The heart and soul of Slievenamon
Shoutin' Tipperary on.
I'll tell you now...
