Stakelums Home & Hardware to sponsor 2016 Nenagh Guardian Sports Awards

The Nenagh Guardian have partnered with one of Tipperary's most successful local businesses, Stakelum's Home & Hardware Thurles to sponsor the 2016 Nenagh Guardian Sports Awards.

Following what was a successful inaugural event held last January, we will honour the sports stars of 2016 in association with Stakelums Home & Hardware, at the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh on Friday, 27th January 2017.

Stakelums fits the ethos of the Nenagh Guardian Sports Awards in that it is a successful local family owned business which has been servicing Tipperary and wider regional communities since 1960.

Located on Racecourse Road in Thurles since moving there in 2006, the 70,000 square foot superstore has grown over the last decade to now include a trade electrical and plumbing department.

Natives of Borrisoleigh, managing directors Pat and John Stakelum as well as their loyal staff have developed what is the ultimate one-stop shop with everything you need to build & extend (timber and masonry), renovate (Tile & Bathroom showrooms), improve (Stove department) and decorate (Household and bedding department) your home as well as having the best selection of home appliances in their Expert electrical department.

Stakelum's Home & Hardware are an award winning business having won the Outstanding Independent Branch award at the 2015 National Octabuild Merchants Awards and were nominated for the Company of the Year award by Retail Excellence Ireland.

So far three of this years monthly awards winners have been announced.
