Paul Molloy is Champion of Mayhem 7

Paul Molloy from Kilkenny has been crowned the Champion of Mayhem 7. The event took place on Saturday, 20th of February in the grounds of Kedrah Castle just off the M8 Cahir exit. He successfully completed the 5km course in just 25 minutes flat, a course which consisted of cross country obstacles such as stream crossings, trenches, slides and mucky bog holes.

Speaking after the event Paul said “It’s a great course and I’m delighted to finish it in first place for once, it’s a good entry level course, well organised and I really enjoyed it. I hadn’t done Mayhem before today, I did other similar events but not this one, I’ll definitely be back again it was class!”

Mayhem Event Organiser, Pat Meagher commented “This is our seventh Mayhem event and we have learned a lot from our clients along the way to ensure we are Ireland’s premier challenge of its kind. We are reasonably priced, offer group reductions and we do not charge for parking or other extras as other competitions do. We have hot showers, free refreshments and an all grass track that is second to none. Our location just off the M8 is ideal for participants and our course featured on Ireland’s Fittest Families where Davy Fitz stated it was the best he had seen. We welcome all levels of fitness and promote the event as a fun activity that it is doable and offers an opportunity to challenge yourself and your friends to do something completely different.”

The next Mayhem event will take place on Saturday, May 21st and tickets are available online now at mayhem.ie.
