Thomas MacDonagh Commemoration in Cloughjordan

The Thomas MacDonagh Poetry Project will be launched this Thursday, January 21st, in the Thomas MacDonagh Heritage Centre at 8pm. All are welcome.

On Friday January 22nd a meeting will take place in the Thomas MacDonagh Heritage Centre at 8.15pm. The meeting is to discuss the Programme of Events for 2016 and how people can get involved. Representatives of clubs, organisations, community groups and individuals are invited to attend. 2016 will be a unique experience in Cloughjordan so come along and be part of it.

Calendars of events to mark 2016 are now available. These will be a fitting memento of the commemoration of Thomas MacDonagh in 2016 and are ideal as a keepsake or as a gift to family and friends at home and abroad. They contain extracts from the poetry of MacDonagh and also family pictures as well as details of events in 2016. These will be available after Mass in Ardcroney, Cloughjordan, Kilruane and The Pike next weekend January (23rd/24th). A voluntary subscription would be welcome to help defray the costs of production. Also available from the Thomas MacDonagh Heritage Centre.
