New Rape Crisis Centre to open in Nenagh
The opening of Nenagh’s new Rape Crisis Centre and launch of its new website will take place this Friday, December, 11th at 2pm.
Rape Crisis Midwest are delighted to invite members of the public to the opening of a newly renovated outreach service in Nenagh. Based in Silverview (off Silver Street), the centre is newly renovated and we hope it will provide a safe place for men and women to come for support.
Established in 1980, Rape Crisis Midwest provides support and counselling to men and women who were sexually abused as children or recently raped/sexually assaulted. In addition to counselling, we provide a range of other services such as court accompaniment, garda accompaniment, forensic examination support and telephone support to survivors and their family.
A street collection for Rape Crisis Midwest will be taking place around the town this Friday too.
