'Whose Life are you Living?' - psychologist in Nenagh

Psychologist Dr Tony Humphreys will present the seminar 'Whose Life Are You Living?' in the Nenagh Arts Centre on Monday, November 23rd at 7.30pm.
In the talk he will question the way we approach our lives and show us how to emerge from the darkness that has hidden us so that we may be inspired to embrace the adventures that life offers. He will explore how our desire to be accepted by friends, family, and society can lead us to bend to their demands, and hide our true selves. We can end up with no idea of the person we were before. Whose life are we living? By giving up our freedom, we no longer belong to ourselves. We belong to those who have influenced and altered us. In this seminar, based on his book 'Whose Life Are You Living?', he will offer opportunities for you to: Reflect on where you are now; Recognise the blocks to being real; To understand your shadow self; To realise what you dare not show; To express your real self; To find support for your inner journey. Dr Humphreys is one of Ireland's best known Clinical Psychologists. He is known for his engaging, thought-provoking and informative talks. He has written many books including: 'The Power of Negative Thinking'; 'Myself, My Partner'; and 'Leaving the Nest'. Tickets for this event are €10. They are available to buy at the Nenagh Arts Centre, by phone  at (067) 34400 or online on www.nenagharts.com .
