Templemore to host fundraising concert
There is still one major event remaining in Tipperary for the trad orchestra this summer, with a concert in the Templemore Arms hotel on Friday September 4th at 8pm.
A fund raiser for their Italian trip, this represents a chance to not only support the orchestra and wish them well but to hear and appreciate unique arrangements of traditional music in an orchestral type setting. The senior orchestra members are heading to Italy at the end of September to play two concerts in Marcerata Province in Italy.
Finally, just an early notice that when the orchestra returns from the Italian trip there will be auditions soon after for anyone who might like to put themselves forward to join the orchestra.
