Water charge protest in nenagh

Nenagh & District Against Unjust Water Charges are hosting another protest march in Nenagh this Saturday, August 8th, starting at 2pm.

Participants are to gather at Nenagh Railway Station at 2pm. The march will proceed through the town, finishing at Banba Square.

There will be a number of guest speakers on the day, including political representatives and representatives from other anti-water charges groups.

A spokesperson for the Nenagh group said: 'We hope to see a good attendance on the day, because we feel it is important for the powers that be to know that we have not gone away. Please come along, and bring your friends and family. All are welcome.'
