Agriseminar in tipp

Bank of Ireland Business Banking is hosting a seminar targeted at the agri sector in the Minella Hotel, Clonmel on Tuesday April 28th at 8pm.  The seminar is entitled ‘Preparing for growth, planning for success’ and is open to both customers and non-customers of the Bank.  

 

The seminar will cover some of the challenges and exciting opportunities facing farmers and agri-businesses in today’s changing environment.

 

Sean Farrell, Head of Agri with Bank of Ireland Business Banking said:  “The abolition of milk quotas presents a very real opportunity for a significant growth in dairy output and, through a series of seminars around the country; we will provide those attending with opinions from industry stakeholders and commentators on how growth can be sustainably achieved.  Attendees will receive advice on efficient tax planning and learn how to effectively fund their farm with our support.

 

Speakers on the evening will provide relevant insights that should prove very interesting to the audience.  They include Sean O’Donnell, Branch Manager IFAC Accountants who will talk about taking the complexity out of farm transfers.  Denis Leamy, beef farmer and rugby coach will discuss balancing the challenges of combining farming and a rugby career.  Susan Maher, Agri Development Manager, Bank of Ireland will discuss funding for change.
