Cars broken into between roscrea and nenagh

Gardaí are again appealing to people not to leave valuables in their vehicles after 14 cars were broken into between Roscrea and Nenagh last weekend.
Cars were broken into at the Racket Hall Hotel car park in Roscrea, in Roscrea town itself, in Moneygall village, at Nenagh's Abbey Court Hotel car park and in Nenagh town. The incidents were reported on Sunday and Monday. Windows were broken in all cases.
Thefts were reported in three instances. A sat-nav device was taken from one vehicle, a sum of cash was taken from the glovebox of another, and cash along with four shotgun cartridges was taken from a third car. The break-ins occurred over a two-three-hour period. Gardaí say their enquiries are ongoing.
