Christmas busking competition in nenagh

A busking competition sponsored by Nenagh & District Chamber of Commerce is taking place on the streets of Nenagh over the next three Sundays (December 7th, 14th and 21st).
It's hoped that musicians of all ages will get involved in helping to add some musical festive cheer to the town on the Sundays, during which many local shops and restaurants will be open. The chamber is also going to sponsor a prize, such as studio recording time, for the best performance. The winner of the competition will be announced after the last Sunday.

The competition was announced by the new President of Nenagh & District Chamber of Commerce Denis Finnerty, who talks about his aims for the local business community in this week's Guardian.
